Mardin first married Lucinda Farr in December of 1832 in Littleton NH. In their union they had one son, George N. 

Jesse’s second wife was Elvira Town, born about 1827. She was the daughter of Samuel and Lovisa (Farr) Town. She is also known as Alvira Towne. They were married on May 29, 1847 in Littleton NH. In their union they had three daughters: Lucinda (probably named in memory of Jesse’s first wife), Amanda Melvina, and Marina. 

Jesse’s third wife was Rebeca Chauncey. They married in 1854 in Dalton NH, this is his 3rd marriage and her 2nd. Little is known about Rebeca. It may be that she passed away young, as they do not have further records or children listed in the Ancestry database.

Jesse’s fourth and final wife was Diana E. Snow. She first married Benjamin Dike/Dyke, so Jesse was her second husband. She had children with Benjamin, and also cared for Alvira’s girls. She also had children with Jesse. To their union they had four children, Charles F., George Henry, Jesse E., and Elizabeth E., Mardin/Marden.

As in other records, Jesse is noted to be a farmer by trade.
