Harry M. Farr, 82, of 319 Brainard St., retired employe of the New York Air Brake Co. plant and a resident of Watertown most of his life, died at 3:20 this morning of a heart attack in the coronary care unit of the House of the Good Samaritan where he had been a patient since  Thursday night at 6:30. Mr. Farr was stricken ill about 5:45 Thursday after noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frederick A. (Pauline T.) Beecher, 656 Boyd St., where he had gone for dinner.

His wife, Mrs. Nellie M. Farr, died in the Mercy Hospital at the age of 80 on Sept. 8, only three months ago. The funeral will be Monday morning at 8:30 from the Simpson Funeral Home and at 9 in the Holy Family Church. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Surviving Mr Farr, besides his daughter, are a son, Edward W. Farr, Rochester, and four grandchildren. Two brothers,Frank J. and William L. Farr, and two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Livingston and Mrs. Alice E. Peters, predeceased him.

Mr. Farr was born near Brownville in the Town of Hounsfield May 8, 1887, a son of Lyman and Ida Mc- Comber Farr. He came to this city from Brownville in  early life and was employed 37 years until his retirement at the Air Brake company for (sic) in 1952.

Before entering the em ployment of the Air Brake Company in 1915, he had been a punch press operator at the J. B. Wise, Inc., plant. For a few years after his retirement from the Air Brake company, Mr. Farr was employed as a school crossing guard at the John C. Thompson School until 1959.

He married Miss Nellie M. Nellis of Watertown on her 23d birthday—June 26, 1912 —in this city.

He was a member of the Holy Family Church.
