Robert S. Farr, 66, of Lewiston, Idaho, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009, after a long illness. Bob was born in Provo on June 18th, 1942, to Oswald and Venice Hansen Farr. He married Linda Collins in the Mesa, Arizona, Temple.

He graduated from Provo High School, where he played football, and enjoyed other sports. He attended Brigham Young University, studying Engineering. He joined the U.S. Marine Corp, serving as a fighter pilot and as a trainer for the F-4 fighter program in Cherry Point, N.C. He held an ATP, CFII commercial multi-engine rating. He loved anything to do with airplanes, and devoted the last 20 years to researching, restoring and building antique airplanes.

An active member of the LDS Church, he served a full time mission to West Germany in 1961. Other Church callings include High Priest Group instructor, Sunday School teacher and Stake Missionary.

Bob is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Angella Crosby, Stephanie White, Shannon Hansen, and Paul C. Farr; brother Dennis R. Farr and sister Sherrie Farr Dunford, both of Mapleton; 26 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Julie Ann Farr Thomas; four infant grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Monday, May 18th, from 11:00 to 12:30 at the LDS Lewiston 2nd Ward Chapel on Ripon in Lewiston. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., under the direction of Vasser-Rawls Mortuary.

Julie Ann FARR [Parents] was born on 26 Jul 1956 in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States. She died on 1 Oct 2003 in Provo, Utah, Utah, United States. Julie married Clinton Duane THOMAS on 22 Aug 1974 in Manti, Sanpete, Utah, United States.

Our beloved wife, mother, grandma, daughter, and sister passed away peacefully on October 1, 2003, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Our Julie, the daughter of Oswald and Venice Farr, was born on July 26, 1956, in Provo, Utah, where she grew up and graduated from Provo High School; later marrying her prince, Clint Thomas, in the Manti Temple on August 22, 1974.

Julie and Clint moved to Sandy, Utah, where they made their home for 18 years; then later moved to Tooele, Utah, where Julie was an active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Julie was loved dearly by those in her ward.

Julie was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren: Ciera, Hailee, Connery, and Hunter, who were the light of her life and gave her all the more reason to fight. She never missed an important moment of their lives and was there for everything. Now she'll watch from Heaven above as their guardian angel. Julie's love for her family and friends was more than anyone could ever imagine.

Julie was employed by the Utah Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division from February 1993 until 2003. She will be greatly missed by her co-workers, who loved her so much. We thank them for their support and kindness.

Julie is survived by her husband, Clint Thomas, of Tooele; daughter and son-in-law, Carla and Mont Hardcastle, and their four children, of Saratoga Springs; her parents, Oswald and Venice Farr, of Provo; brother, Robert (Linda) Farr, of Lewiston, Idaho; brother, Dennis (Terri) Farr, of Pleasant Grove; and sister, Sherrie Farr (Craig) Dunford, of Mapleton, Utah; in-laws, Gordon (Glenda) Thomas, California; Alph (Dee) Bingham, Indiana; Tim (Linda) Thomas, Washington; as well as many nephews and nieces whom she loved as her own.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 6, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. in the LDS Chapel at 85 South 900 East, Provo, Utah. We invite family and friends to a viewing on Sunday evening, from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah; and at the chapel, on Monday morning, from 11a.m. to 12:45 p.m., prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.

We send our love and thanks to all those who helped us and became a part of our family. Thank you especially to the members of the 15th Ward, Tooele South Stake.
