Husband of Eustache FitzEalph, daughter ans heiress of Sir Ralph FitzHugh of Greasley and the daughter of Sir John de la Haye, widow of Sir Nicholas de Cantelowe of Buckinghamshire. They married in 1268 and had one son and five daughters:

Sir William served in Scotland 1257 and 1258, Gascony in 1294 and then Scotland in 1296. Sir William died shortly before May 28 1310, the date of his burial, and was buried beside his wife who died previously.

Son and heir to Robert de Ros and Isabel of Scotland, grandson of Everard de Ros and Roese Trussebut, William the Lion, King of Scotland and a mistress Avenel. Sir Robert was born before 1200. 

Husband of Lucy FitzPeter, daughter of Peter FitzHerbert of Blaen Llyfni, Breconshire, Wales and Alice FitzRobert, daughter of Robert FitzRoger of Warkworth, Northumbria. They were married before 24 Jan 1234 and had six sons and two daughters;

William was excommunicated with his father by Pope Innocent III on 16th of December 1215. He was taken as prisoner at the Battle of Lincoln on 20 May 1217, released on sureties 26 Oct 1217. He took no part in the Baron's war and was apparently faithful to the king. Sir William was the benefactor of the monasteries of Kirkham, Rievaulx, Meaux and of the Templars.

Sir William died 1258 or 1264, buried at Kirkham. His widow, Lucy, was alive Michaelmas 1266.

Robert de ROS Knight "Templar" and Magna Carta Surety [Parents] 1 was born 2 about 1170. He died on 23 Dec 1226 in Calton, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom. He was buried 3 in London, Middlesex, England, United Kingdom. Robert married 4 Isabel of SCOTLAND 5, 6 in 1191 in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland, United Kingdom.

1st Lord Ros of Helmsley. Born the son of Everard de Ros, third Lord of Hamlake and Rose Trussebut. He became a member of the Order of Knights Templar. In 1191 he married Isabella, the daughter of William the Lion, King of Scots by his mistress. King John of England granted de Ros a Barony in about 1213 and he was then assigned as escort to William the Lion during his journey to England to swear fealty to King John. He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1213 and 1215. During the initial stages of the power struggle between the barons and the king, de Ros was John's man, and won valuable grants from the Crown. He was made governor of Carlisle. He eventually, however, changed his allegiance, and became one of the twenty-five Sureties appointed to enforce the observance of Magna Carta. He commissioned the construction of the Castles of Hamlake in Yorkshire and of Werke in Northumberland. He was Baliff of the district of the royal Castle of Bonneville sur Toques, Normandy. Upon his death he was buried in the Knights' Church, New Temple, London. His name has also been recorded as Robert of Furfan and Robert de Roos of Fursan.

Isabel of SCOTLAND [Parents] 1, 2 was born about 1175 in Scotland, United Kingdom. She died in 1240. Isabel married 3 Robert de ROS Knight "Templar" and Magna Carta Surety 4 in 1191 in Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland, United Kingdom.

3rd Lord of Hamlake

Everard de Ros was the son and heir of Robert de Ros. He was still a minor in 1166. He adhered to the King in the rebellion of 1173. Everand de Ros paid, 1176, a fine to the King for his lands, and again in 1180, tho have possession of those, which the Earl of Albemerle then held. 

He married Roese, first sister and coheir, Robert Trussebut, and daughter of William Trussebut, Lord of Wartre, Yorkshire, and his wife, Aubreye de Harcourt. Everard died in 1183, before Michalmas. His widow was said to be aged thirty-four in 1185, and to have two sons, the elder aged 13 at the time of Everard's death.

Originally a ward of Ranulph de Granville, he seems to have been wealthy as in 1176 he paid the then large sum of five hundred and twenty-six pounds as a fine for his lands, and other large amounts subsequently. He was the son of Robert de Ros and Sybil de Valoines. Everard de Ros married Rose Trusbut (in 1170 or 1171) with whom he had two sons, the eldest of which, Robert de Ros, became a Magna Carta surety.
He died c. 1186; he and his wife (both apparently great benefactors to various religious institutes) are buried in the church of Hunmanby.

Rohese Roysia de TRUSSEBUT was born in 1150. She died in 1196 in Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom. Rohese married Sir Everard de ROS.

Everard married Rose Trussebut, daughter of William Trussebut Lord of Warter and Albreda de Harcourt(Rose Trussebut died about 1196.)

Everard married Roysia, daughter of William Trusbut, of Wartre in Holderness, and after the death of her brothers, Richard, Geoffrey and Robert Trusbut, coheir with her sisters Hilaria and Agatha, to their father's estate. They also were heirs of their mother Albreda de Harcourt, daughter of Roysia, one of the daughters of Pain Peverell, standard-bearer to Robert Curthose, the Conqueror's eldest son, in the Holy Land. Her sisters died without heirs, therefore the Lords of Ros, also became the Barons of Trusbut.

They had the following children.

Roger Le BIGOD 6th Earl of Norfolk [Parents] was born 1 in 1213. He died 2 on 3 Jul 1270. Roger married 3 Isabel of SCOTLAND in 1225 in Alnwick Castle, Northumberland, England, United Kingdom.
