In the name of God amen.  I, Thomas Davis of East Moulesey in the county of Surrey, boatmen.  Being of a very infirm and weak(ly) state of body but of sound mind and memory, do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament.  That is to say, I desire to be buried in a descent Christian burial and to be followed to the ground by all my family who are to find a wear their own hatband and gloves and I desire that the choir may sing an anthem in the church at my funeral for which I desire my executors hereafter named and appointed to give them ten schillings.  I also desire to have a head and footstone to my grave and after the expenses of my funeral are paid I give all my goods, chattels and effects of what kind and nature whatsoever to mine appertaining to my sons Robert, William, Richard, Nathaniel, and Giles and my daughter Susan the wife of John Anders (?) esquire to be equally distributed.  Share and share alike but my son William, having received ten pounds of rye I desire that so much may be deducted from his share when distributed and my son Robert if any debt from him shall be due to uw at the time of my decease.  I fully acquit (?) him and forgive and forgive him the whole.  I desire that three hundred and fifty pounds which I hold in the three per cent South Sea? store may be sold out and shared or held in their respective ___  for their mutual benefit as my executor and my children may agree and  I ___  and appoint my son in law John Anders of Chortson (?) in the county of Surrey, esquire to be the whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament and I do hereby utterly revoke and disannul all former wills and ___ by me heretofore made __ and ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.  In witness whereof I have herewith set my hand and seal this fourth day of ffebruary in the year of the Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine.  Tho. Know all whom it may concern that being in sound mind and memory do will and bequeath in addition to the above legacy left unto my son Robert and give him the said Robert all my wearing apparel after my decease and the whole of those ___ to be paid as soon as probable after my decease as may suit the convenience of my executor.  This being my will and made before the signing thereof.

Appeared Personally John Walker of East Moulesey in the County of Surrey, Gentleman and made oath that he is the drawer or scriber of the last will and testament of this last will and testament of the said Thomas Davis, late of east Moulesey aforesaid ___ ___ bearing date the fourth of February 1809 and having now particularly ___ and observed the addition written at the bottom of the said will ___ ___ know all whom it may concern ending __ ___  ___ my will and made before the signing thereof.  He disposes and says that the said addition was sole made by him at the request of the said deceased and previous to the execution and he lastly saith that the said will is now in the same light and condition as executed by the said ___ as a foresaid.  I Walker same day the said Walker was duly sworn by the truth ___ before me ___ __ ___

This will was proved at London on the seventeenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine before the worshipful Samuel ___ Parson doctor of law and ___  of the knight Honourable sir John ___ knight also doctor of law __ ___ Commisary of the Perogative court of Canterbury lawfully____ by the oath of John Andrews esquire (by mistake written and  __ ) the sole executor named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods, chattels and ___ of the deceased by having been first duly sworn to administor.
