ERNEST FARR

Salt Lake City - Ernest Farr, 91, Salt Lake City, died Wednesday in a Salt Lake City nursing home of causes incident to age.
Mr. Farr was born Dec. 6, 1882 in Ogden to Winslow Jr. and Susan Melvina Bingham Farr. He married Vivia Elizabeth Johnson on July 29, 1904 in Dublan, Chijuajua, Mexico. The marriage was solemnized later in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 17, 1959.
Mr. Farr married Alta Baxter Coe on Feb. 22, 1961 in Mesa, Ariz. He had lived in Mesa and Tucson, Ariz. for much of his life.
Survivors include his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Reed H. (Melissa) Beckstead, Midvale; and Mrs. Paul E. (Maybeth) Reimann, Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister: Asael Farr and Mrs. Chloe Stewart, both of Ogden.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City. Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock and Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
