BRISTOL - Harvey Charles Far, 81, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 22, 2012. He was born on July 27, 1930, in Lincoln to Pauline and Harvey Farr. He married Eleanor R. Wyman on June 22, 1954. He joined the Air Force in 1950 and served in the Korean War. He graduated from the University of Vermont, class of 1958. He was a district sales manager for Nationwide Insurance until he retired. He is survived by his wife; his sons, Harvey C. Far, Nobel D. Far and Phillip E. Far; daughter Susan G. Bulkeley; 11 grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul Farr and Lawrence Farr. The funeral will be a private family service.

He is survived by Kelly Farr, the mother of his children and life partner; his children Dylan, Kerrin, Kelsey, and Kaitlyn; mother Eleanor; brothers Harvey and Philip Farr; sister Susan Bulkeley; and beloved cousin James Nelson. Nobel was a graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School in Tewksbury, MA and lived in Hollywood, FL, where he enjoyed a long career working for Coscan Construction. He and his family loved returning to his family roots in Bristol and Starksboro, VT. Friends may attend a memorial service at Landmark Funeral Home, 4200 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood FL 33021 on Saturday April 18th starting at 2 pm.
